The Medical Mastermind Community is a Wellness Program designed to both prevent burnout and improve retention for a diverse workforce.

Spickard, Et. al. in JAMA 2002 defined burnout as “represent[ing] a deterioration of values, dignity, spirit, and will”. Maslach and Leither go on to describe burnout as “an erosion of the soul” in their book The Truth About Burnout.
